I personally know Wayne from way back in the 70’s where we shared an apartment at UC Davis and then in Sacramento where we both were servers at Victoria Station restaurant. I always looked up to Wayne as the consummate Renaissance man.
He presently works for Youngs Market Company Northwest in Portland Oregon. Wayne has two adult children who also live close to him and a grandchild on the way.
The interview gives us a close look at Wayne starting from his childhood in Chicago right up through his active life currently up in the Pacific Northwest. Wayne currently lives up in Tigard, Oregon, about 10 miles south of Portland.
Wayne is a great role model for being an essential Boomer. He enjoys a very active lifestyle and healthy habits. Wayne’s passion for cycling is contagious and inspirational. He gives us some great tips on how to get started.
Wayne also shares how he has evolved into a predominately plant-based diet.
We finish up the interview Wayne sharing his bucket list and then providing some excellent parting wisdom for us boomers.
