Prime Time Living – Vol. 1, No. 4

March 28, 2019 By jimwjensen Leave a Comment

Hello and welcome to

Prime Time Living

The official newsletter of The Essential Boomer

Hello Spring!

You wouldn’t know it by looking out my window right now but spring has sprung! This is a great time of year, full of optimism and promise with the advent of longer, warmer days, lot’s of birds making their homes around our house, and all the trees and plants blooming and growing new leaves.

I love spring too because of the still occasional rain that comes through helping to keep down the damn pollen count from all of those beautiful trees and plants.

It seems like the older I get the more sensitive I become to all of the pollen of spring and early summer. But, it’s a small price to pay to be living in such a beautiful place. And a small-dose allergy pill each day for a few months doesn’t seem to have any negative effect on me.

The Big Sleep Podcast is coming!

No, it’s not about kicking the bucket. But it’s my most important podcasts to date. It’s all about sleep and how we now know that it is the most important driver of your physical and psychological health.

It affects EVERYTHING.

So, I’ve been cramming my brain with a ton of information all focused on sleep.

I’ve discovered Matthew Walker PhD.,and his fascinating and extremely comprehensive book titled, Why We Sleep. It’s so good that I’m on my second listening of it. I find that I absorb way more information from audio books so I listen to them frequently. They have the added benefit of listening to them while I’m out and about, which is great for a hyper-active person like myself.

I will be publishing this podcast next week along with a great freebie PDF containing some excellent tips on how to up your sleep game. This is especially important for us baby boomers who often struggle with obtaining quality sleep.

You will definitely want to hear this upcoming podcast. Don’t worry, I’ll include it in the next Prime Time Living newsletter.

I hope that you enjoy this edition of Prime Time Living. As usual, it’s packed with many articles providing you the latest news and information on how to extend your health span as well as the treatment and prevention of the diseases associated with aging.

I’d love to get your feedback so I invite you to email me with your questions, comments, critiques and suggestions.
