Prime Time Living – Vol. 1, No. 3

March 14, 2019 By jimwjensen Leave a Comment

Hello and welcome to

Prime Time Living

The official newsletter of The Essential Boomer

Happy Day Light Savings Time!

Jim & Laura

I don’t know about where you’re living, but here in Northern California, we’ve been having a lot of rain! And along with it a lot of clouds and darkness.

I LOVE winter and all the storms, but the lack of daylight is not my cup of tea. And Laura gets into a real funk with it. She’s very sensitive to daylight. That why I love it when we can set the clock forward. It’s the signal that the days are getting longer, thus opening up a whole lot more opportunities for outdoor fun later in the day. BBQ! Hiking! Concerts! Bike Rides! I love it all.

Big Plans!

I am very excited because I’m in the first trimester of my grand plan to write my first book on the best life-hacks for extending our life span.

My plan is to publish a podcast on each of the chapters, thus requiring me to do significant research, and write up the show-notes for the podcast, which then becomes the first draft of the chapters to my book. This has the added benefit of sharing the information that I learn with you along the way so I can obtain feedback on the value of this information to you.

Last week I published the podcast where I share the latest information on the health risks associated with refined-sugar consumption along with a companion PDF containing the 13 Sure-Fire Tips to Kick Your Sugar Habit for Good . You can check them both out at the links below:

57: Why you should be eliminating Refined Sugar from your life now!

I have also included the video/podcast by Rhonda Patrick PhD focusing on sugar that was a big inspiration for my podcast. If you want to do a more deep-dive into the science behind the health effects of refined sugar then I encourage you to check it out below:

Deep Dive – Rhonda Patrick PhD – Refined Sugar and Its Effects on Mortality, the Brain, Cancer, Hormones, & More

In Dr. Patrick’s video/podcast, Rhonda goes solo and shares the latest science-based information on how refined sugar has such a profound affect on our health and health span.

I’d love to get your feedback on this topic and how it could possibly affect your life so I invite you to email me with your questions, comments, critiques and suggestions.

Send email to Jim Jensen

I have also been doing a lot of research for my next podcast, which will be on the topic of Sleep. Wow, I’ve learned a lot and am very excited to present this important information to you guys. It’s a game-changer FOR SURE!

I think you will like this edition of PRIME TIME LIVING. It has ton’s of articles and information focusing on many aspects of increasing your lifespan while avoiding the chronic conditions that affect many people as they get older.

So I invite you to peruse my latest Prime Time Living newsletter and feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or suggestions on topics!
